What you get as a tech

  • Every regular at a glance. Open a client and see her last visits, who did them, the photo of each set, and notes like "no drill near the cuticle" or "wedding in June."
  • The exact bottle, not "that nude." Colors are picked from the polish inventory with brand, type, and the code on the bottle, so you can pull the same bottle off the wall in seconds.
  • Your signature mixes, saved. Save a custom mix as a color recipe with the colors and a result photo, or save a finished set from a visit as a recipe, and reuse it on anyone.
  • Your portfolio, organized. Every photo sits on the visit it belongs to, not lost in your camera roll.

Solo or booth renter: start on the Free plan

Create your own salon in the app and it's yours. The Free plan covers 1 salon with up to 3 members, and it doesn't limit how many clients you keep, how many photos you take, or how many colors you track. Client history, nail photos, the polish inventory, color recipes, chat, and Buzz are all included.

Because the records live in your salon, your client book stays with you. If you rent a booth or move between salons, keep your clients in a salon you own rather than in someone else's.

If you grow and add a fourth person, Pro is $9.99 a month for unlimited members. Every new salon also gets 30 days of Pro free, no card needed, and when the trial ends nothing is deleted.

Working at a salon

Join with the salon code your owner or manager gives you; they approve the request, and you're in. From then on:

  • You're "Lily" here and "Linh" there. Pick the name clients know you by at each salon. It shows on visits, in chat, and on buzzes.
  • The front desk can buzz you. When your client arrives, your phone gets a high-priority alert with the reason. Tap On my way or 5 more minutes and the desk sees it, so nobody has to yell across the room.
  • Team chat that understands the work. Type # to drop a polish color or recipe into a message, @ to mention a teammate or a client, or attach a visit photo.
  • Two salons, one app. If you work at more than one, join each and switch between them; each keeps its own clients and your own name there.

Records you log at a salon belong to that salon, so a regular can still get her set right on your day off - and you get the same when you pick up someone else's client.

A minute per client

  1. Before she sits down, open her record: last set, photo, colors.
  2. Do the set.
  3. While the top coat cures, log the visit: tap the bottles you used and snap one photo.

That's it. After a few weeks, every regular who says "same as last time" already has a record.

In English or Vietnamese

Each person picks their own language in the app, so you can use NailNote in Vietnamese while the front desk uses English, on the same salon and the same records.
